Course: Introduction to Pacemakers and ICD's

Description: Introductory course which includes discussion on pacemaker related terminology, pacemaker functions and care of patients with a transcutaneous, temporary or permanent pacemaker as well as those patients with an internal defibrillator.

Who should attend: Practitioners who care for patients with a temporary or permanent pacemaker or ICD.

Pre-requisites: Recommended that the participant be comfortable with the recognition of atrial and ventricular dysrhythmias.

There is no designated parking in the Hock Plaza garage for class attendees. Employees are expected to park in their designated parking area and either take a bus or walk to Hock.
