Course: HUC: Putting Preceptorship into Practice

Description: Duke University Health System is dedicated to promoting education for health unit coordinators (also know as unit secretaries, unit clerks, ward clerks, information coordinators) as a profession. This workshop focuses on promoting the growth, learning, and enhanced socialization of the HUC as a preceptor. Focus will be on communication, evaluation of the orientee, problem solving techniques and professionalism.

Registration/refund deadline: Two (2) weeks prior to each course date. No refunds will be given after this date.

There is no designated parking in the Hock Plaza garage for class attendees. Employees are expected to park in their designated parking area and either take a bus or walk to Hock.
